BBD5's Journal, 17 February 2013

Long Day... Did exercise this morning.. needed to relieve more stress even after the workout.
Had a visit with my sister, we went and did some emotional shopping, chatted and finally came home.. Didn't eat while I was out so I was famished. Prepared a quick dinner and now it is time to unwind.

A mother's job never ends and I am so in need of ME TIME! I'll be alright, just stating where my mind is at right now. No school for twins tomorrow - Give me Strength!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Start of new challenge tomorrow and weigh in - So we will see..

Ciao!! Tomorrow .. another day!

BBD5, Every day will be a new challenge. Kids, school, work, house, family. You will get to a point where you will make time for you. Even if it is hiding in your closet at 11pm to write in your journal. You always support everyone else, that is what a mom does. Just remember, you can't take care of them if you don't take care of yourself. I am learning this is a fact here recently. Good for you for working out!!!!

Been missing my girl lately :( Glad you had some time with your sister and hope you had fun shopping! Proud of you for not eating something you shouldn't while you were out. That takes SO much willpower! Looking forward to doing this Challenge with you! :)

Emotional shopping is much better than emotional eating! So glad that you did not give in to hunger and temptation to get something while out. Look at you!!!!! Even though you were famished when you got home you still stuck with it. Hang in there girlie! Sending good vibes your way today (Monday) for lots of strength and patience.

Retail therapy is what I call it. I used to go to Tuesday Morning and walk up and down the aisles for an hour, touching and picking up and holding but not buying anything. I would come out in the most peaceful state. I think retail shopping gives you sensory overload and edges out your own emotional state. I'm sending up prayers of strength and patience for you. (Know you will need it at the dentist with the twins!)

You know you ladies are the best!! I don't know if there is anything else that I can say to let you all know how I appreciate you all.. I must have got the good vibes you all sent this morning and last night.. Just got from the dentist office about 30 minutes ago and sitting down now to catch up on post.. Morning went well with twins. They did pretty doggone good at dentist considering where I was and what I was dealing with! lol lol lol.. so thank you much.. Darri - love that Retail therapy! lol lol lol Jaime - I don't know how I did it, but I did.. Let me tell you when I got home, prepared "my" dinner - sat down I ate everything and could have ate the plate if it was edible!! lol lol lol.. I knew that I had to keep it together as tempting as it was.... I say it all the time.. You all are a blessing and so glad that I have the support and motivation from you all.. We're human and all of us are in this together!! P.S. TOM is kicking my tail today! yikes! :(
