Weighed in this morning and the scale did not move. I learned a very important lesson this week. The last time I weighed in was one week ago. Considering that I was doing great last week until the weekend came, and it took me until Tuesday to get back on track- I now know that there is no such thing as "just a little bit." It's amazing to me how stopping the gears in motion for just a moment literally causes a 180 in the wrong direction. No wonder I haven't been able to lose weight. I'm sure that if I am consistent without giving in, I will reach my goal. I feel badly that I'm the same weight that I was a week ago, but somehow I believe I could have gained as much as two lbs and then turned around and lost it. That's a lot of wasted energy in both directions. Last night I had to run to the hospital. My husbands uncle had a heart attack. I did not eat any dinner and had less than 650 calories yesterday. I actually forgot that i was supposed to be hungry because i have been eating nourishing food. It's kind of amazing that with that little food intake, and all the exercising I've been doing, the scale is what it is. But I know why and I won't let it happen again. I'm going to wait another week to weigh myself again. I bet I'll be much happier next week. I have a feeling that next week will be very different than this one was. Weekend, I see you coming but I'm ready for you this time!
