I have two scales. One says I am anywhere between 279 and 283, and the other says I'm 290. I don't know which one to believe! Did I gain 8 pounds? 1 pound? Did I lose 3? I DON'T KNOW!
281.0 lb Lost so far: 24.0 lb.    Still to go: 141.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Pick one scale as your "official" weigh in scale. Keep it on a hard level surface in one spot. Scales are calibrated differently and you can weigh something different on each one. The flooring can also give you different readings. If you want to see which is most accurate, get an object you know the weight of (like some handweights) and put them on to see which is most accurate.
