I was registering deep ketosis and losing about 1 lb a day...I have been so good at staying at 20 or less grams a day but I have been sick since 2 days ago and ran out and got the one medication that works for me very well without even thinking about the amount of sugar in it and took 2 doses yesterday of Tylenol Cold and Flu liquid....and BAM! This morning I am not even registering a trace of ketones. Crap. Oh well....I'll just drink a ton of water today and stay well under 20 grams and only take one dose at bedtime (its the only way I'll sleep wit this cold). On the upside...I am still losing weight.

When I catch a cold, it's usually really bad. My own personal belief is that when I get a cold, I plan to simply keep my weight steady without going off plan. Whatever medication I need to get better, BREATHE, or get some sleep is just fine and I don't stress about it. Hope you feel better soon.
