I discovered this afternoon that watermelon hurts me. So I won't try that again.
Wonder what effect that will have on the idiot box. That and some nectarine......
We will see over the next few days.

explain your self properly this is a diet forem

I am happy for people to read and comment on my journal. Davidwoods asked (I think) to explain myself as this is a diet forum. I sense, perhaps wrongly, that davidwoods somehow thinks my journal entries are inappropriate for a diet forum. What needs explaining? I talk about food and weight. I am not talking about cats, or sunsets, or politics, just my weight and my reaction to the food I eat, the hard core subjects affecting us all on this 'diet forum'. Ok, so I will try to explain, if it is a help to Davidwoods. I am always happy to help. In my journal I make notes to myself about my weight loss journey. One such comment was the discovery that when I eat watermelon it hurts, causes me gastrointesinal distress. I also am not used to eating nectarines, and in my musings wondered if it would affect the number on the idiot box, as tbe sugar in such food may skew my metabolism as I am not used to it. The term idiot box is a euphamism many people on here use in reference to the scales. Is this a valid enough explanation? And, so far so good, no increase in the number on the idiot box. ... ... which is, after all, of paramount importance in this 'diet forum'.
