I'm struggling a bit today. I have really been following Atkins dilligently and exercising 3-4 days a week pretty vigorously and I just cannot get the scale to budge. I'm actually up .4oz which is absolutely nothing, I know but I really don't get it. Going to move forward as always but I needed to "vent" today.

Diet Calendar Entries for 06 February 2013:

NalaQ: I'm right there with you! I've been on a plateau for a while too. For me, I found that I was drinking Diet Coke with Aspartame. No No! It seems like *any* Aspartame stalls my weight loss. Stay strong and concentrate on how you are eating for life!

Do you track your measurements? Your body could be building muscle from exercising, and muscle is heavier than fat so it would explain the weight gain. If you don't see the scale move check your measurements you may see a difference there.

Thanks Josie and shadow for the encouragement. I did check measurements and you were correct, I am losing some inches. YAY!

Hi Nala! Had a peek at your calendar and it looks like your a bit high on carbs. On induction you shouldn't go over 20 per day. Try to keep it to 70% fat, 20 or so protein and under 20 carbs net and you should see the scales moving. I've been stuck for a bit too, I know the feeling and it's NOT fun. Good luck to you.
