Day 3. Still going strong. It's so curious how when you tell people you are on atkins there response is always "i tried that, all you eat is meat and cheese. You better get some bacon!" I've been eating so many veggies it's not even funny. I did the research and the 20 net carbs you get a day are supposed to be made up of mostly green veggies. I'm actually eating healthier than I ever had. All three days though I've really craved sweets around 4:30 - dinner time. I haven't caved though. I know those cravings will go away. Until then I'm staying true to the induction phase and feeling good about it!

So far so good until I did some reading and I think I may be going over my calories. I know we count carbs but after reading in the atkins book it said I shouldnt go over 1800 calories. Do you count your calories?

I look at calories on the tracker but don't count them per say. I haven't gone over 1600 (3 days keep in mind) so far but I'm eating a lot of veggies. HUGE salads. Is there a way to see what I've eaten? I'm feeling really good about my choices. I don't have the book. I have the allowed foods on induction list and have stuck to that. I looked at the list and picked out things I think I'll actually eat. Let me know if you wanna know how i'm getting the lower calories or what i'm eating. I swear I love food and need flavor. I'm not the kinda person who could snack on raw peppers or a celery stick ya know. I also weigh my food. I think I need to at first because I have no idea what an oz of anything looks like. Yay! I'm so glad we're buddies and on the same day! Our weigh goals are similar as well. No offense to the people that are like 160 trying to get to 130 or anything but 200+ I think is a different mindset ya know!
