So we got the 'Dancing with the Stars' cardio dance DVD and tried it this morning. It does get you sweating (me in the first couple of minutes, ugh am I unfit!) but lets just say that I am a perfectionist with very little coordination. VERY frustrating!! I can get the moves when I stop it and do them slowly, but the minute I try to keep up with the dancers I fall flat on my face!! (Once quite literally!!!)

Needless to say I'm going to bring that one to work and practice without my husband watching, even though he's very supportive (and not really coordinated himself, but at least he doesn't fall over!)

See, I'm not giving up though! That's what I usually do - it's too hard so maybe I just won't do it at all then! But that's not my attitude this time, I'm going to do it!!!

I'm just going to look ridiculous doing it!!! :)

Part 2 - So I don't get TOM, I'm on the shot, but as far as I can tell I still get all the symptoms BADLY! Today I spent crying and craving, for no apparent reason! All I could think of in life was Taco Time, and my hubby was all set to go on their website and figure out my points for me. But for once I made a healthy choice! We went to the grocery store and got the fixings, and made our own tacos! Granted I had 4 and they were still 15 points, but I'm sure at the restaurant it would have been closer to 30. And I was still within my daily points!!

Had to give myself a bit of a pat on the back about that one, I have NO willpower when it comes to cravings, this was probably the first time I've acted wisely towards one!

Wooohooo! for making your own tacos and avoiding the takeout ones! And you stayed within your points, so even better! You definitely deserve to give yourself a pat on the back. Give yourself one from me, too :) Don't worry about your lack of coordination with the dvd. Just trying to keep up with their moves is as much of a workout as actually doing them. You will catch on after a few tries. I know I flubbed up lots of moves on my exercise dvd's for the first few run-throughs. Heck, I still mess up sometimes! So you aren't the only one :) Hang in there. You're doing great!

Anything homemade has got to be better for you than take-out. Good job. You will give the guys watching the security cameras at work something to laugh about, God knows we all need something to laugh about at work!!!! You will be doing a civic service!!!!!!!! :-)
