so yesterday I went to a close friend's 21st - themed 'the feast of Middle Earth' i.e. so. much. food. And she's Hungarian, so I have no idea what most of it was! Let's be honest, I went way over my quota, but I'm ok with that. It was an amazing night, we were all in costume, dancing and swimming in the pool, eating and laughing and reminiscing.
Diets are pointless if they consume you. I believe in being healthy AND happy, not healthy at the expense of happiness. I will try new food, I will have a rich piece of cake in the shape of a dragon, I will drink mead with friends - but it is not my lifestyle. It's moments like those that define my life, and my waistline will not define those moments.
But I'm back on board today!
