never did do an induction phase, just whole wheat and lots of fruits and veggies. seems to be working!! someone told me its all about eating less at a time but more often (like 3 hours) so i've been doing that also. it keeps your metabolism up!! i only have 8 more lbs to go till goal, hope it keeps up and stays off!! good luck to everyone else!!

I read the book again recently, you ARE doing Atkins, you just didn't start at the same place most of us have to. Keep up the good work. With a better metabolism than some of us you can lose weight on a higher carbohydrate diet, but whole grains and unprocessed foods are the key for long-term maintenance. If it works then good for you!
