Friday morning. What's new in my world? Not much. Evelyn, you were asking me about my training plan, it's called 5 3 1 program. Based on four lifts: Squat, Deadlift, Shoulder Press, Bench Press. Each day is dedicated to one lift, with assistance exercises. Dips, lunges, pull ups, good mornings, etc... according to what lift I'm working on that day. Simple, effective, and I can have my workout done in 30 minutes. It's a long term plan, it works in 4 weeks cycle. Each new cycle, I add 5 to 10 lbs to each lift and build strenght slowly but surely. The 5 3 1 means the number of reps for each set, depending on the percentage of 1 RM on each lift.
My eating was far from good this week, I managed to have a couple of days with decent food, but I also ate crappy food. Pmsing is now over, I should go back to normal eating. I've been exercising and working outside, and had long walks with the dog every morning. All in all I've been active!
I feel well, christmas is coming and I know holidays will be very quiet here. I had thought this year would be different, but it won't. It gives me the chance to relax, read and study quietly at home.
Wishing you all a great friday and even better weekend!
