Soulnoid's Journal, 20 December 2012

Day 332- So I have been very sporadic on posting a journal entry over the past few months. Let’s just say it has been a busy whirl wind few months. As for the weight loss, I leveled off for some time and did not drop much. I think this was just due to my body catching up with itself. My body form has changed a lot in the past few months. Funny thing about buying cloths- a year ago I had a hard time finding designer brand cloths that were big enough for me, now I have the problem of finding ones small enough for me. I am in a med shirt, but could wear a small of most things, but they are to short. I really wonder what other guys do with my build? Pants- I am well into a 30x30 size and could wear a 28 waist, but when I do find 28’s they are too thin in the legs. Also, finding 28’s is harder than you think. Most stores stock 32 and up, so even a 30 is a challenge sometimes. I have had to change designers that I wear/shop just because of fit. I am shopping those designers that I use to ask ‘who can really fit in those and do they sell?’ It really makes me wonder what do other guys do? I can’t be that rare of a size? Or should I just be shopping in my sons preferred ‘hip’ stores? I love the cloths I can wear now, it is much more ‘me’ than I was a year ago of wearing my dresses to cover my belly.

Tomorrows entry- Update on running and exercise.

Isn't it crazy? Now I keep finding larges everywhere when it used to seem like only smalls were left. Shopping for clothes is something I still loathe but it's definitely better than it was. Btw LOVE the new pic, great smile!

Loving the new profile pic as well. Have you considered splurging on tailored clothes? Then they would fit you just right which will make all the difference. Most tailors will even alter store-bought clothes to make them a better fit.

My hubby has had a hard time with the 30's also, now he's starting to wear 32's, and if they fit in the waist then the length is wrong. I have the same issue as a woman, and one brand fits better than another. At least you're not having to find bigger sizes! You've done so well, and I'm sure you'll find a new favorite brand or store soon.
