What a nice weekend! I'm enjoying my daughter-time, had a nice hike with Erin yesterday (hugs!) and a date last night and one tonight. I am trying to wind it down for the holidays, these are just a few lingering promises.

Went out to listen to live music today at a wine bar, I'm getting really good at not having bread. Olives, cheese, salami, no carbs. What a relaxing afternoon! I'm down more than a pound, sticking to my LCHF plan with less food, maybe this will work. I'm happy.
192.6 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 28.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Good for you,it will work. Did you get your ketostix? As for me,way too much eating out and pizza for dinner tonight.

No, didn't make it to a pharmacy...when do you test? first thing in the morning or later? I am so stinkin' good...pizza never touches my lips. Why am I not skinny?

You should test through out the day at first to see when you are the darkest color and then use that as your time. I usually check in morning and evening. If you find yourself getting discouraged just have an all protein day (meat,cheese, and eggs only) I also believe you should have a day "off" by eating whatever you want, just keep calories low that day. PS.... I could have been one of those women, because I think you look skinny now.

I have heard from many people that I don't need to lose anymore weight...but I'm 193, that cannot be skinny unless I was 7 feet tall. I'm 5-8, size 12-14, so I know I need to lose more. But I can tell you, when i was a size 24, 14 sounded pretty damn good. I guess i am happy now, but not satisfied. I want to be a size 8-10. I don't think that is unreasonable, and something I should be able to accomplish if I'd ever come off this plateau.

Your good now and I know you will be better, just keep doing it! Go back to listing your foods and I will try and help you with what I know works, (not that I am practiceing what I preach right now} Trust me that the ketostix are a great mental motivator

We are slowing down losing but I'm with you - 196 is too much for me - 148 is my goal - size 8. Not too worried about looking too skinny - I will know what is right for me. So glad you are with your daughter and having 2 dates this weekend. Yea!
