What a beautiful day!! It is warm, the sky is deep blue, not a cloud in the sky!!

The training was very interesting. This weekend we talked about and played with different 'energies', yin, yan and reconciling. Tried to figure out what our way of being in the world is and it was enlightening to say the least. I completely enjoyed myself and feel energized. I got home yesterday evening and was very happy to be home. The facilitator of the training utilizes a Daoist approach to supporting our learning about reflective supervision. The training is not so much didactic as it is experiential and I just eat it up!!! I already have a ton of 'information' in my head and what I enjoy most is learning it from the inside of me. Two more weekends to go! One in September and the final one in November. I will be sad to see them end.

I did well with eating overall while I was gone. I exercised one day, not yesterday. I did treat myself to a Sonic burger, tater tots, and a small vanilla shake on the drive home. I have been craving Sonic for quite a while, was hungry, and decided YES. It was junk food delicious!!! LOL!!!

Today? Maybe a movie. We were going to cut some wood but didn't get up early enough and soon it will be too warm. In addition, Bob spent all day yesterday out in the sun helping some friends put together their planter boxes for their garden so he is a little stiff and sore today. I'm thinking a run to the dump to get rid of trash and perhaps just a fun, kick back day.

I will write more later about what I have been learning about myself in these trainings. Some of you might find it interesting. Others may think I have lost my mind!!

and so ... grateful I am for ...

1. a rejuvenating and energizing weekend of learning about ME

2. safe travels

3. beautiful blue sky, warm temperatures, a light breeze, and the beauty that surrounds me

4. being 52 and feeling so damn alive!!!

5. beginning to feel more comfortable with my whole self ... being 'big' (not fat) in energy and presence isn't necessarily a bad thing!!

Have a wonderful day embracing your life, practicing kindness and acceptance towards yourself, looking for the blessings even when they seem difficult to locate, and just being YOU!

I'm glad you enjoyed your training and your time away. It's great to get to do that sometimes. Such a change from our normal routine. Glad you enjoyed your junk food. I have been thinking about junk food these last few days myself but I am eating out too much this week to indulge. I hope you have a great Sunday. PF Changs for me tomorrow and a big Margarita that Chris has suggested. lol

I can't wait to read about the training. Chinese's point of view about energy is very interesting. Weather is beautiful here too, I should be studying my book on the patio actually, instead of chatting online! Have a great sunday Moose!

Sounds like a great weekend over all. I enjoy the kinds of things you are currently utilizing and find enlightenment comes in many forms and can be found while strolling down many paths. Enjoy the journey! :)

Taoism in the training! We are all becoming so clever these days. ;-) I've been wanting to go to a movie on the big screen for months, has there been a single worthwhile movie? Or am I getting old. :-) Let me know if you see something you like (I'm passing on Toy Story II).

Wow, what a lovely mood you are in. I need to spend the day with you. Thank you for your really nice comments in my journal. I wish I could pick up your devil-may-care attitude. It would really help me relax. So much anxiety these days. I have not had a burger other than my own in years. I used to eat one occasionally but not in a long time. They do sound good tho. Glad you are back safely and your "grateful for" list is tremendous. Have a good evening Moose.

I crave a Sonic burger now and then as well...interestingly though, when I'm eating healthy I find them much too salty. I guess that helps me to stay away. lol Sounds like you had a wonderful trip, and are returning quite energized. :)

The training sounds fascinating. I'd love to learn more about that. Glad you enjoyed your junk food meal. If you enjoy something, then it's worth the occasional treat--I think. I like your line about being more comfortable with your whole self, including your energy and presence. Something else I'd like to be better at.
