Today is a new day. I am starting fresh. My husband is joining me this go round and I am so glad. I sent him an invite for fatsecret so hopefully he will get on here as well. I got up and cooked us breakfast, scrambled eggs and turkey bacon. And I packed his lunch for work. I really have to make sure and pack him good food and plenty of snacks. He is the type that gets so ILL if he doesn't feel full. Any suggestions on snacks would be GREATLY appreciated. I want to do everything I can to make sure he sticks with this. So if I am sure to supply good lunches and snacks he won't be so tempted to hit the vending machine. Tonight is our first softball game of the season so we won't have time for dinner before and it will be after 9 when we get done. I may just have to pick us up a salad. I hate eating that late. Maybe I will take us a couple snacks and by 9 we will just be ready to get the kids in bed and go to sleep ourselves!! Wish us luck! (We only won 2 games last season and one was a forfeit!!Haha) But we have lots of fun!

Snacks...hmmm. Guys are so different than girls on the snack part. I love sliced tomatoes, cucumbers soaked in vinegar, cucumber & tomato salad with LF Feta cheese and light greek dressing. You can try LF cheese cubes for him. But if he wants to feel full, make sure he gets plenty of veggies and if he will drink it, add some v8 juice. Also, for your dinner, have a light salad or a V8 to hold you over until breakfast.

He loves V8. I sent him a can of V8 and some nuts, cheese and a pickle for today. He said that would be plenty. We'll see. He should be so busy at work this week he won't have time to snack. I also sent him a pack of sugar free lifesavers and told him to only eat when he absolutely needed something.

It's good to start again fresh, especially when you have already lost quite a bit of weight. The fact that your husband is joining you will make things *a lot* easier. As for the snacks, hmmm, hard boiled eggs, thinly sliced roast beef and ham, lots of water... Come to think of it I don't know many really good snack foods either.

I think you did fine on the snacks. You will just have to change things up occasionally so he doesn't get bored. I have a great stuffed mushrooms recipe that is great for snacks. If you want it, you can send me an email and I can type it up for you.
