I feel guity and I am sorry to say that I am not focused about eating properly, in spite of our challenge. The past few weeks I have been eating deserts in restaurants, and taking a lot of liberties with food. By the night time I promise myself that the next day will be better, and sometimes I am-but too often I am not. It's almost like a "fog" comes over me and I don't quite care.....I just want to eat it and I do. I think I am feeling rebellious about food, and the "fog" is my green light to cheat.

I hope by writing this down and putting this out there, I can work on that foggyness-getting my head back into program with good thoughts about the necessity for weight loss and good health. I guess what I am trying to get in touch with is that my food issues are in my head and it's hard for me at this time to concentrate...Woe is me team navigators!

It happens to all of us. Don't feel guilty and don't be so hard on yourself. You took the first step to getting back on track by coming here to journal about it. I do that too. It keeps my hands busy..lol. You can do this, Susieq!! I KNOW you can. When you feel like eating try a cup of hot tea, some peanut butter on a celery stick or other legal snack, call a friend, take a walk, or come here to journal. I have faith in you Susie!!

I second that. Peanut butter saves me. Sugar free gum, also. It's hard, but the thing about dieting, is just to shake off the backsliding and try not to do it tomorrow.

I am in the same slump you are in. I think I am going to start phase 1 again =/ I'm glad to hear your getting back on track!
