Sunday - weighed in at 128.4 lbs in evening
Monday - weighed in at 129.6 lbs at 7am (How could that be?)
Monday - weighed in at 128.6 lbs in evening
(So still up 0.2 lbs even though I ate only 992 calores and 13 net carbs on Monday)
Husband says to stop weighing in daily. Makes sense, but I'm so happy and motivated when I see a weight loss like Sunday's.
Next weight in will be Friday night.

Your husbands right. Weighing constantly is not going to help. Your body constantly fluctuates. Sometimes up to 5 lbs in just a few days. Dont get discouraged, it happens to everyone.

Thanks for weighing in on my frustration. I'm kind of a black & white person, so things that don't make sense drive me crazy. How can your body gain more than 1 lb in a single day without food? No cheating, not too much water (I wish...) If I know I couldn't have gained 1.2 lbs, then how do I know I really lost 1.6 lbs. I sound like a crazy person, I know. I guess the way my pants fit will be the true test.

It's water weight. Your body is made up of 60% water, so many factors cause the scale to fluctuate hourly. You can gain 5 more pounds from morning till night and it's normal. Factors such as hormones, sickness, medicines, stress, too much sodium, all the food we eat and drink all day, sore muscles from exercise etc. can all effect the scale. Google "why the scale lies" for insight in to water weight. If you weigh daily, you should expect the scales to go up and down. It's normal.

Middle of eating my Wendy's cheeseburger patty, got so nauteous and hot and extremely tired, vision headache too. Considered not going back to work. Laid down for about 30 minutes, feel alittle better. This happened the first day or two on Atkins last week. I wonder if it could be diet related?
