What helps alot is to meal prep some afternoon or evening & prepare ingredients for your meals or actual containers of individual meals you can grab & go. Makes all the difference in being successful!

I have lost weight with my sister. It was wonderful. We lost literally pound for pound with each other for the first 100 pounds and then she was at goal and I had 50 more to go. That last 50 was the hardest even though she was supportive we were not both in the losing phase. Right now we are losing together again. She is only 35 pounds from goal and I am 80 from goal so it will happen again. Neither of us gained all the way back to the beginning but we have both struggled with maintenance.

Wow, with such a challenging schedule, i can see how you landed where you are! I think it is great that you are doing it together. Make manageable changes one at a time. Be kind to yourself, and each other!
