So I had a triumphant moment this evening. A few days ago, my mom had watched my kids and gotten them some M and Ms. It was a large bag that they hadn't finshed so she left it laying on my kitchen counter (thanks mom). She's on WW so she didn't want them either. Well they had to get out of my kitchen or I would have just finished the bag. I don't do well when caught off guard w/ high calories foods in front ofmy face, or so I thought. Well I immediately stashed them down in the basement freezer (sadly I am actually too lazy to go down the stairs and bring them back up). And I forgot about them, that was my intention and it worked. Except I was taking stock of our freezer food as I'm going shopping at BJs tomorrow, getting ready for our upcoming pig pickin'. And I came face to face with those damn M and Ms again. I closed the door slowly, stepped carefully away from the freezer, and no one got hurt. I was very proud of myself. An unexpected temptation that I resisted.

Didn't make it on the "Dragon" today. :) Hubby beat me to bed. The Dragon resides in our bedroom. And hubby starts work early, so he goes to bed early, I missed my window of opportunity tonight. Maybe tomorrow morning (yea right who am I kidding!). No new weigh ins to report either. I hate to be a copycat, but I like Kate's mentality. She only records losses. I think I'm going to adopt that policy myself.

Great job resisting the M&M's. My kids are like me, they don't leave candy for long. Maybe they know I'll get into it?!? lol Well, my oldest son (with my dh's metabolism) can pace himself better than others. I remember my favorite WW'er leader telling us about how her kids didn't even know that chocolate Easter bunnies had ears. She always ate them before she set them out. LOL

I'm doing the same thing and only recording losses. I like that idea that I've decided it was mine all along!! Too bad I haven't had anything to record in 2 weeks. I'm expecting a magical 5 to 6 pound loss overnight to reward me for being so darned good with food and tracking. It works that way, right??? Great job on the M&Ms! I've had some hershey's kisses in my office for about a week now, and I know they won't hit the spot, so I've been ignoring them, and I feel pretty good about that myself. OMG on the easter bunny ears! That's so funny!

I do the same thing, Amy! The Dragon will be there in the morning and you just might surprise yourself. As for the M&M's I just have to say WOO FREAKING HOO!!! The peanut m&m's scare the hell out of me!

Way to go on the m&m's, my worst is any kind of baked good and seeing as I'm the only one in the house that bakes as long as I don't make them I don't have to deal with it.

Yeah that is pretty freakin's funny about the bunny ears. Now I don't feel nearly so bad about the times in years past when I've dipped into the kids candy stash!
