Question for the panel. Overall, do you eat a wide variety of foods or do you eat mostly the same thing? Mixing the same components in different ways? All over the veggie rainbow? Doesn't have to be scientific, I'm just curious.

I've transitioned from salads to soup this week due to a change in the weather. With the exception of not eating quite as much spinach the last couple of days, I'm still getting the veggies but in a different form. Added lentils. Poached my chicken in the pressure cooker, made the soup from the broth. Add the chicken after so I can weigh it.

I like to try different things but I get random food from friends, vegetables and fruits mostly. I do eat all over the rainbow because I am not a picky eater. I buy food in bulk so packages of prepared lentils are a staple for me. I don't usually buy uncooked chicken though, I get the roasted ones. The supermarket sells them for $5 so how can I pass that up?

I eat a huge number of different things and try to rotate through all the veggies and protein I can to avoid boredom and get a good nutrient spread. I like to cook though too. and I DO eat the same thing for breakfast most days.

Variety.... except breakfast. I have go to foods that keep me satisfied until lunch.

Mostly the same things, but cooked differently, combined differently. I try to cook enough to have some left over for lunch the next day...and I make part of the meal with stuff my husband will eat. For instance, if I fix ground beef, I separate mine out before I add his to gravy. I make him some mashed potatoes and I eat mine with a fried egg and cheese... sort of like that...

With very rare exception, I like steel cut oatmeal and/or eggs for breakfast. that's it, that's my morning rainbow. Even if I do a brunch, I usually get up early enough for oatmeal.

Mostly the same. Sometimes what I cook for lunch will be also for supper. Sometimes I will drink my smoothie as a meal replacement.

Mainly I am a creature of habit, partly because I know what I like and partly because I get a lot of my meals included with my job, I work in all inclusive buffets so I I stick to what I know I don't get tempted off the wagon! Always porridge with lots of cinamon and chopped fruit for breakfast, and then fish, loads of veggies and loads of salad for my other meals. I just vary the salad and veg dependant on what is in season

I tend to eat the same thing for a while and then switch to something else and get hooked on that. Mostly easy items. When I fix recipes I tend to overestimate my portion.

During the work week, my breakfast and lunch are the same every day. Dinners vary, but when I cook a big batch of something, I tend to eat it every night until it's gone.
