When I started this weight loss journey - I took a picture of myself in a too tight blue shirt and a pair of jeans... neither of which I could fit into. The pants would not buckle up and the buttons on the shirt were straining and hanging on for dear life... and the sleeves were so tight my fingers were turning blue.
Today - I'm wearing that blue shirt in to work and the Jeans are buttoning up. I still think they're too tight (you're not supposed to see the outline of your panties through your jeans) but I am thrilled at the progress to date.
I'm finding it easier to cope with the new method of eating 5 small meals a day - but it gets tough when Mike or Robert or somebody wants to go ave lunch or dinner or drinks. I'm saying no...but at the same time - I don't want them to stop asking because I don't want to feel socially isolated...
So I will have to learn to balance that more effectively going forward...
But for now - yay me!
