Day 221- Got my run in today around the hotel and for the first time I felt sick after my run. Funny thing was I wanted to run before I ran, but once I started I really did not want to. It was a first for this feeling also. As for being sick, I was very gassy the past day, so that may have something to do with it. I have another 5K on Sat and I don’t feel ready for it, but that could change in the next few days. I do not have any leg pain today, I have been fighting a little Achilles tendon pain in my right leg and it is gone today.

Soccer, I love how parents think I get paid to be a volunteer. I had to explain to someone yesterday what ‘volunteer’ meant……. She was upset because I was not home all day long and would not answer her call. I don’t take calls on my personal cell phone during the day unless I know who it is, I also turn the ringer off after 9pm every night except for my wife, she has her own ‘special’ ring (I hope she never hears it, LOL).

The goal- I have reset my goal weight to 160lbs. I have dropped 50lbs so far and I think 160 will be my bottom. I also think it will real challenge to get to. I don’t know if I have that much to lose. I still have a belly and the belly ring. It would be great if it disappeared. Depending on the cloths I am halfway between a large and med. It kind of sucks when shopping, I have to try everything on, I never did this for years.

Food- I have to log my food! When I am home I have to drink more water and snack less. More later…..

When I read "belly ring" I imagined a belly button piercing. lol I'm assuming that's not what you meant? I'm now curious what your wife's ringer is???

I want to know what the wife's ring tone is too! My husband had "It's a quarter after one, I'm a little drunk and I need you now" as my ring tone. LOL Hope you're feeling better and ready for yoru 5k.

What's the ringtone? So curious! Mine for hubby is Magic Man by Heart. And His for me is Some Kind of Wonderful by Grand Funk. Come on! Please tell us!

All you have to do is search wife ringtone on any ringtone site..... that is all I am saying ;-)

I searched it... you're funny lol. Mine for the house phone is Stewies's "Mom, mommy, momma...", so appropriate! My parents is "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah, grettings from camp..." and that's my fav!! My sis is old school Jessie's Girl since Rick Sprinfield was her first crush and Hubby's is the Monday Night Football theme. I hope you are feeling up to snuff soon. My goal weight is 125 which I don't remember ever weighting, I was probably in middle school. I am staring to wonder if I'll ever get there. Right now heading into the holiday season my goal is to stay steady and NOT GAIN!!! I've been off the boat and not eating as clean as I should be so it's time to fix that since my sodium is a serious issue. I have never had any high blood preassure or anything but then again I haven't been this weight since 1990 or so. I don't run but I did get up at 5:15 this morning and took a 45 min walk with the dog. Hopefully a new mind set will do us both some good :-).
