pAST THE 24 HOUR MARK...good Tuesday morning..since I don’t have to get out an do any out of the house errands today...decided today was a great day to go for a longer fasting... not sure how long I’m gonna fast today..never gone this long without feeding..so new experience..

Was trying to talk to a friend about my addiction to food and why I needed to change over to a keto lifestyle...some people are closed minded..yes carbs are his friends...yes he’s diabetic..he’s not that overweight...what can I say...all I can do is my thing..and let him see my results...

Well listening to iPad and podcasts with 2 keto dudes...the advantages of a iPad...

Can’t decide if I need to fix salad...or just wing it...

Want to ride on road bike today...might be outside..might be on zwift..not sure..but want to get a ride in..

Welp...gonna close this journal...

Have a great Tuesday...when I break fast will journal it...

Now to revise food menu..since breakfast is past...

Food addiction is a real struggle that most people don’t understand unfortunately. Focus on your health and keep finding ways to take back control as you are 😀 wishing you best of luck on your health journey 😀

Stopped my fast at 1130 am...forgot I needed to bake chicken breasts if I wanted to eat it for rest of week..still a success...at hour 18-20... was finding it hard to not throw in the towel...but once past that...a breeze..something about 6 am..guess it’s the habit of eating about that time..so roughly 28-30 hour fast...chicken had a great taste..lol

@ Steven...good afternoon back at you...yes my plan is to ride...nice enough here to ride outside..but at same time a work day for those that have to work and busy streets and people not paying attention...one of the advantages ...among others to ride inside using zwift...

Odd thing about diabetes, as Draglist said, weight often comes AFTER you become diabetic OR it goes the other way. My husband started losing weight rapidly when he went full blown diabetic and he never once suspected it. That's when he had the heart attack. He is tall skinny as a beanpole now. He refuses to give up bread and potatoes and he doesn't try to add protein in with his carby snacks (lemon poundcake, Cheezits, Cheetos, etc) and he is on insulin and wakes up nights with horrible tingling in his feet (neuropathy). Pre-Diabetes is reversible or even preventable if we would just stick to eating low carb. I have been eating low carb on and off for over 10 years now (still pre-diabetic -- at least it isn't full blown).
