LSG417's Journal, 17 August 2018

I haven't recorded my food most of this week. I started out Sat and Sunday recording, but decided to just have fun. I overindulged earlier in the week, but since I'm not doing Keto, it hasn't wreaked havoc with my system. I haven't been eating near enough veggies and fruits or drinking enough water. I've only worked out at the gym once, but we have been walking the beach and swimming and visited the Naval Museum, so I've not been totally sedentary. But I have no doubt that I've gained a few pounds. Hoping it's not more than 5 pounds. I will get back on the wagon come Sunday. Today is our last day here, will head out by 8 or 9 am since we have a 10-11 hour drive (including stops) and lose an hour (different time zone). School starts Wed, although my oldest will actually start Monday since he is taking a college automotive class and it actually started this week. He also starts a new job Monday. Hoping he will make strides at maturing because I can't deal with a 17 yo that acts like a 5 yo at times.

Yes the bad thing about keto is that when you leave the diet you gain weight rapidly

Well with Keto you’ll have a big jump up on the scale but it goes back down just as fast. I gained almost 9 pounds in 2 weeks and lost 10 in 1 week once I went back to Keto. It all works out in the end.
