Thanks for the encouragement! Chris, the meds have made mw thirsty so i have to drink lots of water and I love to drink coffee..but now..have to cut it down to maybe 1 instead of 3, 4, 5 cups a day. 😢 

You will do it! 

Could you drink decaf? Hubbys family has a history of heart problems and they drink decaf only. Their dr recommended it when they couldn’t give up coffee completely. Still only allowed 3 cups a day I think. 

Yes I tried decaf..its gross..lol but Ive tried it half n half and its better that way..one big cup a day. Instead of 3 or 4 ..or 5 lol 

One of the meds I was on Metoprolol slowed my metabolism down making it difficult to lose weight with a proven program that worked for me before. I asked the cardiologist to remove it and he cut it back drastically. I lost 33 lbs since then last April. 

Your life is at risk. It’s time to make a change! You can do it! 

Hubby went to the dr today. His BP was about 125/75!! Normally when he goes in they make him sit there fearing he will have a heart attack while on the office. The only change he’s made in the last few months was losing 10# (266 now) and he quit drinking anything with caffeine. He takes it daily at home and thought our BP meter was malfunctioning. The dr assured him it was correct and he only stopped drinking caffeine about a week ago, maybe 10 days. I hadn’t realized how bad caffeine was for his heart (he has had issues since before I met him at 23 years old).  

You know exactly what to do. Let's go! #grindtime  

Wow thanks everyone for all your support. I definitely am taking this seriously..I've cut back on caffeine drastically. I am waiting to be seen by a cardiologist. I am not going out like this. Sometimes I start feeling tired or out of breath..I stop myself and pray. I believe God has a lot more for me to do here & my family needs me...my life is just starting..at 42! 😊 I have to be my own advocate for my health..and may have to go with another cardiologist bc the one I was recommended doesnt have any appts until October.  

Peeper11 ..wow I am glad to hear that story! Thats motivational. I hope I can lose 10 lbs I can feel better too. 

Bill Mcgill..Wow..thats amazing. I am glad u pushed for your own health and that youvwere able to cut that medicine down and lose that weight! Congrats! I am on Cardizem..only for a week or so now..so far I feel better but still get little pains and headaches. But somehow I feel better in early mornings. I am NOT a morning person but I feel more energy in the morning now. Weird. Also had been feeling nostalgic..b4 the meds but even more so now..and lots of dreams..I had one nightmare..that scared me so bad I woke calling Jesus so many times!!! ..my heart was pounding when I woke ..I couldnt sleep after that. Also..when I have to wake up with an alarm..I wake up almost terrified..and that shocks me and makes me too. I just jump outta bed 😳 

Chris much better thanks..but still having some racey feeling in my chest at times. I really have to push to get seen by a cardiologist..the thing is i just started a new job ..they are very understanding but I dont want to mess up. They were the ones who called ambulance..I was going to drive myself and they said no u dont look so good. Just have to get in contact with a cardiologist who will see me sooner. 

Hang in there, it seems bleak but I feel you’re going to surprise yourself and us. 

I’ll be praying for you, He said to Moses in Psalm 91 “with long life will I satisfy you and show you my salvation” actually the 2 verses before that one are very powerful for u also...... 

Actually all of 91 is appropriate for me and you....lol😂 it’s always been my fav when bad times occur and I need a jumpstart to my faith. Vs 9

Yes Chris I can take Motrin or Tylenol. I've been using Motrin. So tempted to just stop taking the meds..but so scared that it will happen again.
