I have never had problems being over weight, or losing weight.I always stayed at a pretty average weight. I could go into any store and know that my size would be on the rack. I was never tiny, but average. After my son was born, I decided on a birth control called Implanon specifically because the doctor informed me that it didn't cause weight gain. Boy was he wrong. I had it removed from my arm, 6 months after it being inserted. So now here I am overweight! I decided to quit being depressed and talking about doing something and actually do it. I have a gym membership and I am currently on a diet that a weight loss doctor recommended, along with medication. I have began to reduce calories,carbs, sugars, and fats! This is hard but I have found writing everything down as I eat it or before I eat does make me more aware of what I am putting in my body. Writing it down and all the nutritional information makes me feel better about saying no. I came across this site and I am hoping it makes things even easier for me.

ya you aint lieing it help to write it all down even the stuff we dont want to write down. Birth control does play a big part in gaining weight for some ppl. Good luck hun.. you can do this

Thank you very much for your feedback. It isn't easy, and I never knew that this was how overweight people felt, and how bad the struggle is! It is not easy. I give props to everyone trying! I have weekly weigh ins. I started this diet Friday, So I am hoping to be able to say I have lost something. That will boost my confidence!
