I was so excited today! I went for my first weigh in and when I stepped on the scale the lady and I both stared at the scale with smiles on our faces. I lost 6 pounds in 5 days! I am totally committed to this diet. My future health depends on it. I have a history of diabetes on both sides of my family. I had blood work done before I started the diet and they informed me that my good cholesterol was too low and my bad was too high, which put me at a high risk for coronary heart disease. I am 26 years old... I wan to continue to be there for my three amazing children and wonderful husband! Don't think just because you are young do not think you it won't happen to you. I never thought about checking cholesterol or anything before... I should have done it a long time ago. Doctor said eating healthier, which I have been doing, will change this! Excited about my future!
