I eat 5 meals a day. This is 3/4c fusilli pasta. With 2oz lean meat balls. I made 50 meatballs and weighed each one while making them to be .5oz With the protein and frequency I don’t really get hungry. I have a difficult time getting all my calories because I don’t get hungry. I also ate 1/2c raw spinach with this. I put it on top after taking the picture. Had an orange too.

Sounds like you are doing amazing! I like the 5 meal a day ideas, I have 3 but with snacks between seems to work.

@eat_les the 5 meals is new to me. 1st week. It’s been working. Going into second week lost 2lbs. Official weigh in is tomorrow but weighed myself Friday because I couldn’t wait. Your advice to drink water is super great advice. Thanks for that.

I use tiny plates or bowls to fool my eyes into thinking I'm getting more. Also use a kid's plate 1/3 covered with a Tweety bird picture. i never cover him with any food so he can "watch" me eat. Silly? Yes, but it works for me.

@BlueFront - I’m really careful with portion sizes. I use small plates too. But it’s still about portion size. It’s difficult to tell the dish size based on pictures. @nikeit - I started off with the 5 meals a day. But found eating at least 20g of protein per meal made it so that I stopped being hungry. Now I’m eating about every 5-6hrs. 2-3 meals a day.

I do 2 meals a day. Only if my blood sugar gets too low (per my diabetes doctor) do I snack or have a 3rd mini-meal. You gotta figure out what works best for you. Sounds like you've got this.🙂
