Was thinking hard about what I would like to eat, with full freedom. A chinese steamed pork bun came up, and I went to get one. Major disappointment. My taste buds must have gone through some permanent changes.

Yep. Definitely feel you on that one. Have had more than one disappointing refeeds where the food in my head tasted much better than the food IRL.

I found that out when I tried to have one of my husband's fries 3 months after I changed my way of eating. It was very disappointing, but also a relief. I love the smell, but I no longer worry about being tempted.
