I am very let down.

After work yesterday, I rushed over to the yoga studio, because there is a class that starts at 6:30 that I've heard is the hardest and most intense class that the studio offers. I get out of work at 6, so usually not liking to rush, I go to the 7:30 or 8pm class, depending what time it is offered that day.

So I got to the class, and I felt seriously ripped off. Was it good? Absolutely. Did I try poses I hadn't had a chance to try before? Yes. But I barely sweat. I didn't take ANY water because I didn't need it. It was so strange. It was the same temperate as the usual hot yoga class I take, but I guess because there were only like 10 people there, there wasn't enough body heat there to really heat the room. I am really let down. I even stood with one of the heaters blowing on me.

Needless to say, I'm maintaining, which I guess is a good thing. I find that once I spike up or have a bad weekend, I can get back to where I was before I splurged, but then dipping lower than that, is hard to do. I know that it will come, but just right now it's frustrating because I'm working out, I'm eating right, but this week it's been hard for me to drop below the 152 that I'm showing right now. I know that it's a marathon and not a sprint. But sometimes, I just want to finish the first leg. I know I have all the right tools, I just need to make them work for me again.

I am going to try to fill up before the graduation party so that way I don't go crazy with all the food and all the drink. I am totally going to go to yoga that morning, and tomorrow is going to be my relax off day. However, I'm getting a mani/pedi, and then all of my friends and I are going shopping for outfits for the graduation party. We're kind of turning this into prom. Which is really fun. Just a prom you can get drunk at.

Well that's all I've got. I started the week at 155, I'm at 152.6 now. I don't think I'll hit the mark of 150 by Saturday or Sunday, but that won't stop me from trying!

First of all, you didn't get drunk at your prom?? LOSER!!! ( ; LOL Anyway, as far as the sweating - its good and all, gets the toxins out of your body, but your not losing FAT with that, just water, so really, I don't think it should make a huge deal with the weight loss. Also, your doing great! I wish I could lose every week, but I can't - I hit paltues (sp?) and they suck, but you keep doing what you know is right, and you will get over it. Keep up the great additude, and we will see a skinnie you on a tiny bikini in no time!!!
