I'm about 5 days into water fast. I've lost 7 lbs., approx. Not getting too excited, I believe most of it has been water weight. Started drinking my Keto-Coffee to crank up the Ketosis and Autophagy (only about 4 measured cups in the morning). Hunger is irritating but, manageable. Not as bad as the last time I did this. That's a plus. Lethargy is high but, that is too be expected. Hopefully, lethargy will pass in the next few days. I need to start my resistance training again. Maybe some medium pace cardio for 45 mins a day. Problem is I can't go too fast otherwise, I'll start losing muscle mass instead of persevering it.

Still drivin' on.

water fast electrolyte mix (aka snake juice). Here's my recipe :

1) Sparkling Mineral water 8-16oz (Pellagrino or Perrier); spring water works too.
2) Ice
3) Lemon wedge, squeezed or 2 teaspoons of lemon juice.
4) 2 tablespoons of Bragg Apple cider Vinegar (the type with the mother in it)
5) pinch of 'No salt' sodium replacement. (100% potassium, prevents muscle cramps..damn if it don't work like a charm).
6) pinch of Pink salt trace. (minerals and electrolytes)

yeah, it tastes a bit funny at first but, it grows on you quick. I've Gotten to really like it. :) Has everything Gatorade has, but no dyes, chemicals, or carbs.

5 days is an incredible achievement. Not a lot of people are able to reach this stage. Congratulations! A few opinions (feel free to ignore). For me, exercise will fix the 'Lethargy'. I am on day 3 of a 5 day fast and I did not want to drag my butt out of bed and do a 5 mile run but afterwards I am feeling on top of the world. Also, for me, there is no actual hunger after day two. Now, I WANT TO EAT :) But, there is no actual 'hunger'. Last, I have no concern about losing muscle mass. It is not as if my muscles go away completely. Last week I did an 11 day fast, my muscles look exactly the same :). But, yeah I lift weights even while fasting because, why not :)
