I guess that's what happens when you don't eat dinner. I've lost 3 pounds already this week, but it's not like I haven't been eating or exercising. I'm not pulling a DJ Tanner and eating water pop and working out like a crazy person at the family gym. I do, however, want to look like Aunt Becky.

I really took the week off of exercise last week, only going out and walking twice, instead of doing something 6 days, like I usually do. I doubled up on yoga sessions this week. Where as I usually go to two classes a week, this week, it's 3. I haven't been eating after yoga though. You're supposed to practice on an empty stomach, so I usually just eat a Fiber One bar before I go, so that way I don't get overwhelmed with the heat and pass out. When I get out of class, it's usually after 9pm. I don't want to eat that late, and most of the time, I just worked so hard getting everything out of my system, that I don't want to put it back in. Usually, a sandwich or something is what I would get because it's quick, but then I think about all the carbs, and I just can't do it to myself.

I'm going to guess that I'm going to report a gain on Monday. Usually the weekends are my bad times. Hopefully with the right balance of exercise (yoga tomorrow and maybe a walk on Sunday), I'll be able to keep a gain in check.

I'm going shopping for a dress to wear for a wedding that I have at the end of May this weekend. I'll also be looking for an outfit to wear to a graduation party that I have on May 1.

I think that once I hit 145 I'm really going to start focusing on toning up. If I want to be bikini ready for July 23, then I'm going to have to really get myself into shape. It's times like these that I wish I had a gym membership. Does someone want to donate one?

Oh and to those who commented on my journal, I have some stretch marks from carrying around all the extra weight, I mean I am by no means ready to be in the Victoria's Secret catalog, but if I'm working this hard, I'm going to show it off, I mean if Kirstie Alley can get in a bikini on Oprah, then I can lounge around a pool for a week in another country! (Holy Run-on Sentence, Batman!)

Why don't you bring some carrots and celery in a baggie to munch on after yoga rather than a sandwich. Good for you, and no carbs! As far as Kristie Alley on Oprah - yeah, she came out there in a bikini (actually, if I remember correctly, it was panties and a bra...) but she also had her Spanx on under it, so it didn't really count in my book! Have fun shopping - I love dress shopping now!!!

@moose: I agree, I never understand people who wear bikinis, who, I guess, shouldn't? I know that's not the right word, but I can't think of another one. I guess people are more comfortable with their bodies. A lot of the spots that we vacation in, are frequented by Europeans. A lot of Germans and Dutch. I don't know they are freer in Europe, I know I couldn't get Joe into one of those Speedo bathing suits if I paid him.

@Sarah: In response to your birthdays, mine is 8/2, Joe's and my dad's is 8/23. We should have a big ole party! I love dressing shopping now, too. Whenever I used to go shopping, it used to be a crazy day. I used to cry uncontrollably because nothing fit me. It was bad. I felt so bad for my friend and my mom. Because I'd be a crying mess in the dressing room. But now, I love shopping. I haven't cried in months!

Lol. You crack me up. You are doing great! So proud! Maybe replenish w/ a light snack after yoga, like some nuts or fruit or something?

Wow! You are doing really well allicat. I love the consistency that we can all see on your chart. The time taken with Yoga is time very well spent, not only the Hatha but the mental aspects as well. It's a beautiful thing. Keep up the great work and thanks for stopping by!
