You look terrific, Xappie! You're an inspiration! Blessings and best wishes as you continue to work toward you goal!
Our weight journeys are somewhat similar, although you may be younger and not as tall as I am. I'm 64 and 5'9". I weighed 145-175 through age 31, then gained 100+ lbs. during a disastrous 18-year marriage that ended in 2003. My highest weight was 285, at age 43. In 2002, I was diagnosed with T2DM and lost about 60 pounds over the next two years, but I made no real effort to change my eating habits. July 1, 2017, was a turning point but, up to now, that commitment has wavered. I'm confident that the keto lifestyle will get me to my goal: ONEderland; eventually, 172 lbs.; 24.99 BMI, and CHEEKBONES AGAIN!

You were beautiful before and beautiful now. Don’t get down on yourself for your ‘late’ journey, we are all here to learn and you are right on time. 😉

Amazing transformation - I have a nurse friend that told me I could 20/20 hindsight my situation all I wanted to; but I would not have noted what was happening to be able to do anything about it. I have really just become very grateful that I have an opportunity to get it right from here. that and being alive. I think you are a great example of what is possible with hard work and dedication. I wish you continued success on your adventure.

Yeah, I hate old photos of myself, and wish I hadn't worn the extra 35 lbs for 12 years before I finally got rid of it.

You look so beautiful! Just try to focus on the gratitude you feel now for where you are at. If you dwell in the frustration/ anger zone you are just punishing yourself. The past is gone! All that matters is the present moment! Best wishes Xappie- you rock! ❤️
