Busy day! My union negotiated that we can volunteer for community services one work day per month so I was volunteering at the state high school science fair. Fun projects by teenagers with some enthusiasm for science and engineering! One was based on bird wings. Another had to do with 3-d printing with eggs, and a third was a piece of equipment to improve life for asthma sufferers. I spent about 6 hours wandering around the college gym for 5,000 steps!
Dancing tonight, so that should be another 6000 steps.
I got free lunch as a judge - boy, those cookies have a lot of calories! It should be a wash tonight calorie-wise. I did take a lot of the bread off the sandwiches so I ended up with only 4 slices for 2 meals.
The migraine ran into today, but I think the change in the weather also increased allergy-causing problems so between dehydration and allergies I have been suffering. I ate well, drank a lot, had meds and judged what I had to. Now to get ready for a long night of dancing, probably 700 or 800 calories worth, since we'll be dancing 2 and a half hours!
It's so hot here today - I have to dress very lightly for the dance.
