I finally got the weight down. I put on a little over New Year's weekend and it took all week to get rid of it. I also moved into Phase 2 of my training for the Grand Canyon by hiking Shaw Butte on Sunday morning. It felt good and not overwhelming (like I feared) because I've been training for this hill all week. I'm sure whatever gains (or rather losses) I made in the weight arena will be negated by going to the movies(popcorn) and then out to eat (wine and salt/fat). Oh well, I've got the week to lose even more weight and climb more mountains.
217.2 lb Lost so far: 20.8 lb.    Still to go: 29.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
