hello Fat Secreteers! Long time since I have checked and in fact, I am starting another weight correction regimen. he he.
My last regimen was a total success, even though I did adjust my goal weight up by 5 pounds, because I was feeling very weak and skinny and knew that my aspiration was not realistic. So I met my goal weight long before my daughters wedding and withheld that weight +/- 3 pounds until recently. I was making conscientious food choices, but was not sure how liberal I could be about that. For the safe of healthy eating, I was on whole goat's milk and aged goat cheese, delish! for two months into this fall. (My daughters have a small herd and recently began this cheese-making). That all was fine, but then a three week camping trip, with some unexpected stresses, may have led to a bump up of weight gain.
I knew because I was feeling bloated. I would say that my husband and I went wild, but for some it would have been a conservative menu.
We stopped for ice cream in our travels (skipping meals), sought out southern BBQ, which is a holy grail. You are hungry and you find some and it hit's the spot and then you find another and you think maybe it is better and so it goes.
We splurged on BBQ. My jack Sprat of a husband like skinned chicken breast with BBQ sauce applied. I on the other hand like the full Monty-Brisket with all it's succulent ribbings of fat!
Despite this sensual recall of the BBQ experiences, I have to emphasize our conservative approach prevailed, always eating appropriate portions.
I will confess to a GI tract that was buckled and knotted and in great need of roughage - lettuce and greens, by the time our trip was over.
So November first, we are settled in our home in the south. We are committed to starting another regimen. This really a tweak compared to the last. We will both set new goals of losing 10 pounds each. There is a family gathering and that always helps as a motivation. My husband will lose all his weight by next Saturday. I by past history will not, but 10 week to lose 10 pounds, should not be so strict. Part of what I need to learn and to really internalize is the really getting to know when I am veering too much off center (of a maintenance weight).
So I have a new goal weight that I will believe willkeep me be healthy and strong and energized. I am beginning a regular yoga regimen again. Hooray - love it AND my husband has committed to practice some youtube salsa! Got to
to do it! When my sister comes to visit in January (she has made a fantastic body revision too!). We will buy bathing suits, have pedicures and drink martinis in celebration! Chow for now...

The trip sounds like so much fun. Loved reading your post. You can do this and if it is any consolation, my husband is the same, when he needs to lose weight, he can drop it in no time. I am like you. You can do this as you well know because you did an amazing job losing so much more already! Welcome back and be good to yourself on your journey :)
