Day 9: Lift Day (Rotation 3, Day 1)

I spent some time doing some researching and I have learned that the process that I am attempting, fat loss with muscle gain, is called re-composition. It is a slow process and is more commonly used by more experienced lifters that are trying to maintain their weight but to reduce adipose tissue while increasing lean body mass.

Research suggests that I might be better served by returning to a more restricted calorie intake that would facilitate faster weight loss, but my current plan appears to be working. I will need another full rotation for a completely accurate comparison as the first lift period was not preceded by a low carb phase.

Based on the results thus far:

7/16/16 237.8 (Rotation 1, Day 1)
7/20/16 234.1 (Rotation 2, Day 1)
7/24/16 232 (Rotation 3, Day 1)

I believe that at the very least the majority of the water weight is off. The first rotation and day I was definitely heavier with extra water. The next two weigh ins will affect how I will proceed as I hope for about a half pound loss per rotation.

I will also add that I now have a 47 inch waist, which is a new low!

I was invited to a wedding in October by a co-worker and he told me that dress is just nice not necessarily "tuxedo" nice. So apparently I need to set some money aside to get some decent dress clothes as the ones I have are all much too big now. #weightlosstroubles
