Spiritually I am happy. And, I recorded a bunch of concerts, REO Speedwagon, Chicago, and some others (Boy they are really old...Hee! Hee!) Darn, my Ogre got all excited to see them recorded and watched them at 6am while I was sleeping in. Yes...the dish fairy was here again. My Ogre made me coffee, over medium eggs and bacon! I am so glad that he didn't choose to work overtime this weekend. We get to hang out together and work around the house and out in the yard, and re-watch a concert.

Happy Birthday Momma! (The pic is of her, me and brother.) She would have been 76 yrs old. She was diagnosed with brain and lung cancer when she was 39 yrs old, 3 months later God wrapped his arms around her and lifted her to heaven. She was so beautiful inside and out. She attracted people to her like a magnet. Not a day goes by that I don't think about her and all of the times we shared. She made my heart smile so many times and still does. She helped me be the woman, wife, mother, grandmother I am today! :)

Now for the weight loss struggle: I have been in a stall for days, discovered one major problem...not drinking enough water. Added more water, next day weight came back down, then yesterday, back UP 4lbs. Today... weight BACK DOWN 4 lbs from yesterday. What a wild ride I am having. Lately, I have been drinking 2 cups of coffee a day with it 2-4 drops along with heavy cream per cup. Maybe too much liquid stevia??? Or maybe too much heavy cream??? Or is it my unhappy intestines???

I added Fiber to my 'Nutritional Tracking' settings so I could see how much I was really getting. Oh geese...flabbergasted of how little I am getting. I don't want to increase carbs to meet my fiber requirement or I will go way over 20 grams (not tracking net). So, its gonna be what my physician recommended to get my intestines happy and get rid of constant constipation and hopefully my weight will begin to stabilize and gradually go down instead of acting like a roller coaster

I add psyllium husks now and fiber additive in my keto coffee, the flavorless kind, if your looking for options to add to your intake.

How sweet that you remember your mom so lovingly! RE: Stevia - I was disappointed to read in Jason Fung's book that studies on sugar substitutes - and "even stevia" - showed that they raised insulin levels 22%! As you probably know, insulin turns food to fat storage so maybe it's time to limit or eliminate the stevia and see what happens.

700 mg a day of magnesium will correct any constipation! It is safe! Take at night before bed! You will never go back

Wonderful to have such a special picture of your mom. They say the good die young and in this case you know it. Drinking more water is always a good thing to do it really does help flush out your body. I had Chinese food over the weekend BIG mistake! I woke up feeling like a pork sausage my feet were so swollen so for the past three days I have been drinking as much water as possible, still feel like a puffer fish. I know it will pass and next time I really have to rethink the Chinese not a smart move. Again a wonderful picture your mom was a beauty and you do look like her. SA.
