I really think it won't slow as down as you think. I've been Banting for 3 months and was stuck in my weight. I cut the dairy and began counting carbs and lost 3,5 kgs (7 pounds) in 10 days. Quite easily. I never overpass the 25g of carbs a day. Is DOES make the difference! Don't give up. And especially when you hear others hovering you that this is a very unhealthy diet due to the high fat intakes. Geese... At least people could try to be less narrow minded... But in my country almost no one knows what Banting is... So it gets harder to explain when they see the results and ask us what diet we are on. Hubbie lost 20 pounds in little more than a month!

Doing great, sticking through first week, started my second week, today, bad side was eating that potato salad for lunch, was less than a cup, and still within RDI, but all I had packed for lunch. Will work harder tomorrow and everyday. Lost 2 kg's last week, already, by staying in the Green list. Weekends are tough, but you get through it, it is worth it! I feel great and look forward to the kg's melting of :) 25kg's to go !!!

I know right...we all have our set back day...like I said (should not have had that potato salad, but it was all we had in my house)..we learn as we go...if this is a place of judgment, I think I am in the wrong group :(

Of course not, please don't let me be misunderstood. Sometimes people are new in Banting and do not understand the concept itself. I was surprise because potato is one of the worst foods in Banting and I was wondering if you were doing things right. Sorry for my words. And if you need any help, you can have my support. 😊
