I am a married 46 year old mother of 3 grown children and gramma of William.
I recently moved away from the town where i grew up to a town that is closer to my grandson.
Don't know hardy anyone here but am trying to get out and meet people.
I am not working now for the first time in 20 years so i found i was eating and drinking wayyyyyy to much and felt very unheathy.
My mom is diabetic and follows the G.I. diet and she seems to maintain her weight and keep her diabeties in check so i thought i would give it a try.

ways to be active

1. Walk whenever you can
2. Walk the dog, the cat , your husband
3. get those arms swingin
4. get those legs pumpin
5. take longer strides
As you can tell i LOVE to walk
it is the easiest and cheapest form of exersize
"Good for the body Good for the soul"

For a snack i love fresh veggies with hommus dip
good crunch factor and some protien too
