Decided to modify my diet some from the changes I wanted to make at the 1st of the year. It was too much, too fast. I know from experience that if I don't enjoy the way I am eating I will just give up and go back to bad habits. I've been having my hot chocolate made with almond milk. There are very few ingredients in the Ghiradelli hot cocoa mix and I have a tablespoon, maybe a little more if I have more than 6 oz of almond milk. And I think I will go back to having 1/4 to 1/2 bagel most mornings with reduced fat cream cheese. That is my comfort breakfast and I lost nearly 30 pounds doing it. I will go back to skim milk instead of almond milk eventually, there is more protein in skim milk. Still trying to increase my vegetable intake-not crazy about veggies, but I am okay with some of them. Bought broccoli and Brussel sprouts at the grocery store yesterday along with pineapple and raspberries. Didn't walk yesterday after the 10 mile walk the day before. I had some errands to run and took Bobby to the dog park and after that I just didn't feel like walking. Should be able to get a walk done today.
