I'm fighting a losing battle with willpower right now. I have a delicious creamy herbed goat cheese in the fridge and all I want to do is go grab it and spread it on some crackers and eat it.
But I'm trying to cut back on the amount of cheese I eat (it's my super-weak spot), on the amount of sodium I eat, and also on snacking between meals.
So on one hand, I'm trying to resist eating it. On the other hand, I'm trying to convince myself it's ok, because I'm still pretty far below my RDI for the day, and I should eat something if I'm hungry before my spin class in 2 hours.
Ahhhh I don't know what to do :(

Wow that's a tough one. If it were me I'd eat a few crackers with cheese before the spin class, but if it will undo your day don't do it. Can you make it a small snack and not go overboard with it? I'm sure you'll make the right decision. :)

Thanks for the support :) I've had issues getting dizzy at spin class before, so a snack was probably the best idea. And I don't think it will undo my day, since I still have half of my calories left for dinner :)

As long as you measure out what you eat and stay under your RDI, you're good. Personally, I threw out a bunch of stuff that would test my willpower. It's hard with a pregnant wife and a 5 year old in the house as they eat stuff I can't, but I replaced a ot of it with healthy low calorie snacks.

Ooooh I love cheese and wine, lol! I try to save them for special occasions and avoid buying if I can. If you really want it, have a small amount. If you can't, then try to skip it. Some foods are red light foods and hard to stop at a small amount.

Thanks for all the support everyone :) I think having the snack to end the craving and also prevent dizziness was the best idea. I do have a huge weakness for cheese, so I think if I indulge in it in moderation when I can't stop thinking about it, it will help prevent those times when I eat a massive amount of it because I can't help myself.
