ShyGuy's Journal, 07 April 2012

My neighbor fired up her BBQ grill, this afternoon, and offered me a burger. When she gave it to me it was on a bun, which, for half a second or so, I thought about tossing. Instead, I put a piece of cheese on it, dressed it up with a bit of sauce, and enjoyed it, just as it was; along with, a dill pickle spear, and some of the Kona coffee smoothie left over from this morning. I haven't had a burger on a bun, since Superbowl Sunday, and it was delicious; I couldnt resist. :-) Though I won't make such things a habit, it was worth it today; no regrets, at all. :-)

Oh, the simple pleasures in life...and what a kind gesture from your neighbor... I know that you won't be making it a habit because you have a goal and are a committed individual. Have a great Easter.

At least you stopped and considered your options. You made the choice intentionally and since it won't be a normal choice you're right to move forward. :)

Yes, you didn't just wolf it down blindly like I have done. And you are an active committed person, so I can't imagine it will dent your progress too badly :)
