FBS 83.

Yup, been a while since I've recorded a journal. Been really busy with my grand. I found yesterday afternoon that my granddaughter had shared her cold with me. I may have had it longer than that as the symptoms of being achy, feverish and bad headache I have along with my irritated throat. But for me, these are pretty normal everyday symptoms. The givaway is the runny nose and sneezing so I'm taking it easy today. Hopefully I'll be over it by monday as I don't want to keep passing this back and forth.

Weight-wise I'm tending to fluctuate between 105-108. A couple of times I've hit 110 but in a day or two I'm back down though I'm not "dieting." I know it's just water fluctuations as I eat when I'm hungry. My blood sugars have been great. I'm running in the mid 70's to low 80's. It's helped a great deal losing all the weight which has actually improved my physical activity. Also I've found that changing the timing of my metformen has helped immensily. According to my instructions I was to take one with breakfast and one with dinner in which the best I could hope for my morning blood sugar was between 94-105. Now I take my 1st metformin right after I get up and eat something within the hour. The last metformin I take just before I crawl into bed which keeps my liver from dumping sugar at night. So I'm averaging in the mid 70's to low 80's in the mornings and my after meal sugars are on target.

Still exercising with my wii though some days are tough. I have bursitis in both hips. A bit of asperine helps some. Yeah, getting older can really suck in some ways.

Hey sweetie..have missed seeing you here..although I can understand why..you have a sweet bundle to look after..and your grand too...LOL... I was given a sample of Bio-Freeze once and it really helps with joint pain...you can get it on line now..good stuff..I am going to get me some more for my knee...your sugars are awesome...keep it up what ever your doing...and Happy Weekend to you too....:O)

Hey, Ruby! Sorry about the cold...they are really tenacious this year. I have been battling one for a while, but like you I think we keep passing it back and forth between ourselves. Great job with your maintenance and glad that the bg's are doing well! Hugs and lots of love my sweet friend!
