3.1 miles walked via the lake route with doggies.

Same old story....had an off-leash Boston terrier come after us halfway down the road from where he lives. Never seriously threatened us, but was growling just a bit and still seemingly protective of "his" property area. Luckily we don't walk by there regularly, but I need to keep it in mind if we go by there again. Same dog did the same thing to me when I was without the dogs and walking by myself through that area a few months back....I had just forgotten to keep my eye out for him today.

Otherwise, a nice, sunny day with temps almost in the 60's. The sun was really nice and warm but that breeze was definitely cooler!

We got a call from our bank late yesterday. They had detected fraudulent activity on our credit card, so we're going through that whole procedure. Both DH and I HAVE the cards in our possession, so it's not like someone stole the cards. Anyway, I'm thankful that the bank's computer systems catches those kinds of patterns early. The account is now closed, of course. We had this happen several years ago and, unfortunately, it's not really possible to determine how it happened. We're both SUPER careful....if you ever read articles about the "10 Ways to Safeguard Your Credit Cards...", well, we do all that AND more. And it's still not enough, apparently. This kind of thing just makes me even more distrustful of people in general, which is not really a good thing.

Awww bless your heart..people need to keep their pets in side a fence its not being a good neighbor in my book..when I lived in town there were people would let their dog do there business in my yard..I confronted one once and she said her was digging for a bone..Ahhh I'm not stupid Thank you very much..I asked her if she would like for some one poop in her yard..she gave a look..I told her if it happened again I was going to pick up and throw it at her..Never saw her again..LOL...have a great evening..:O)

Good thing you bank had it's eyes open and was able to detect bad activity. Hope they can figure it out for you. Enjoy the rest of your day my friend.:)

Bren & Laurie, it's true that our bank is right on top of this. When they told me what some of the charges were, and there weren't all that many, I'm impressed that that type of activity got flagged so quickly for a security review. Just wish they'd call the cops and have the people arrested when they used the numbers. I think there's enough info available to do that, but the banks have their own agenda and rationale for when, and when not, to really go after the criminals. As long as they stopped it on our account, I'm happy.

Bren, my parents had neighbors who were just like yours. Drove my parents crazy seeing that dog come sniffing over on our yard and doing its business there. The dog always seemd to go about 3-4' over on our yard, never on its own....that dog had an internal GPS, I guess, to be sure it never contaminated its own yard. Fences make for GOOD neighbors!

Sandy, so sorry about that dog...hate it when that happens. I am super careful about my dogs...invisible fence, regular fence, gate across drive with chain on it. It irritates me when others aren't. Sorry also about the credit card,, but so glad your bank caught it. There are just too many nefarious people out there! Have a good rest of your day! HUGS!
