Hi All

So I did a month and a half without grains. I did amazing and did not crave grains at all. However due to the death of my boyfriends grandma, whom we lived with, it has been a crazy last 4 days. I ate pasta, pizza and had a chicken parm roll. I do feel the effects. I am bloated and tired feeling. Today I am back on the grain-free train.

However I want to go low carb again. But everytime I do this I get really tired, sick feeling and my brain gets sooo foggy to the point I quit after like three days. Anyway to combat this? I would love suggestions Thanks

Panigale - be easy on yourself. This has been a stressful time between the death and all the social eating. I am sorry for your loss. Your desire to get back to low carb is great, and you can do it. That transitional discomfort is really helped by keeping your salts - or electrolytes- in balance. Use pink Himalayan salt or a product called 'Saltstick' (Amazon). This will help that wooziness. Go to dietdoctor.com for a wealth of low carb info. or to Livin' la Vida lowcarb site. I wish you well during this trying period.
