cocobutt's Journal, 01 January 2017

Spent the day yesterday cleaning out the fridge and food cupboards. I wasn't really thinking about how to make them healthier, but we really don't stock up on junk food. We do have a lot of baking ingredients like assorted flours and white and brown sugar, however.

Mr C is making lemon-sugar crepes for brunch now. I first had some in San Diego at the Madeleine Cafe. So delish.

I'll keep tidying up my house today, which will give me the illusion of control. Maybe that will make me feel like I can get control of my diet too.

My goal today will be to not overeat. Not going to worry about cutting down on carbs yet.

Yay for us. We can do this. It's one day at a time. One splurge doesn't mean we can't start fresh every single meal. Work into it slowly, one change at a time. Glad you're back!
