Chilly day...walked 3.4 miles this morning with 1 doggie, the other along for 2.7.

Completed donation items and they're out at the curb. Now trying to clean up the disaster that comes about when we unload lots of boxes of Christmas decorations all over the house!!! Still working on finishing up the tree....

I have a pre-Christmas package of items to send to my mom that I'd like to get on out of here today. Also bought some of DH's gifts online today.

We've been missing a box of Christmas items, but I think I found the box - FINALLY!

And in the midst of this chaos, I decided to clean the oven. Just because I know I'll be home for the hours it takes to get through a cleaning cycle.

Gained a couple pounds over the last week....some will be due to water but the rest more than likely due to the nut butters I was scarfing down prior to Thanksgiving. Then, with larger portions of legal foods, the uptick stayed.

Anyway, I'll take just a bit of extra time before I log a weigh-in, but I'm still keeping track of my exact weight so I can input "historical" entries to be sure I log an accurate history. Right now, however, I'm not doing that so I can maintain motivation. Ah, the games I can play....

I know what a mess decorating can create - boxes, boxes everywhere! Good luck getting rid of those few pounds - I'll be right there with you.

Never fear, you are not alone! Yes the games we play with ourselves, but whatever it takes to keep motivated as long as we are honest with ourselves. Mom2Boxers had nice words of wisdom regarding the same in her journal today, actually I think she was responding to Buffy, check it out if you have time. Oh, the Dear Diary thing she has is hilarious too!
