Can ANYONE please share some tips on how to cut out BREADS and Cakes. They are my weakness. I"m not a meat eater, so most of my eating seems to revolve around bread, pasta and cheese.....ALL BIG NO NO's when trying to lose weight.
I get bored with eating just fruit and vegetables but can't stand the smell of cooked or raw meat waiting to be cooked.
ANY SUGGESTIONS, please help.

I struggle with that...I actually buy "Great low carb bread co" bread. Bought some rye bread that is amazing (Carbs 8 grams, Fiber 7 grams, 60 calories a slice). I make grilled cheese and use for sandwiches.

I don't eat meat AT ALL. No way, no shape, no form. Haven't had it in over 9 years. Can't stand the texture or smell no matter now it is cooked. I don't eat ANY kind of meat. I'm lactose intolerant so dairy is out of the question as well. I do like the idea of the grilled pineapple with cinnamon 8hunter6. thanks for that idea. So many good ideas. Thanks everybody. Good luck to all of you on your diet mission as well.

Break the habit. 3 weeks on keto, the cravings will go away. As others have said, cold turkey. Make up your mind which you want more: the body you want of the carbs you crave.

Depending on what you want to lose, you could try the Atkins type diet. As for pasta and bread, and refined carbs, if you've always had a weight issue, they will always be a problem. If trying to just do low calorie, you could learn about cooking with tofu, there is also Tempeh 5 grain, very yummy and nutty. Try looking at vegetarian recipes. You have beans, TVP you can make vegetarian chili, many thai dishes use coconut milk and have awesome taste you could do with no dairy or meat. I use to make stuffed peppers with tvp and a little brown rice and tomato sauce. Yummy. I lived with a vegetarian. It takes a lot of creativity and New way of life. There are cheese alternatives in the health food section. They aren't the best, but I think they could have improved the taste over the years🌞🌞 good luck.

Ha one more idea, if you have an Ethiopian restaurant they have amazing veggie platters, but I think they use ghee which is clarified butter.. Refried beans lettuce wraps.. Geez, you do have choices, get creative and have fun with it.

Do you like fish and/or fowl? Replace Carbs with Cheese, Butter and Double Cream. I have started using Low GI Bread. If you must eat Carbs then swap from refines Carbs and Sugars to unprocessed, Low GI Carbs.

google 'low carb bread' There are a ton of recipes out there. Check out the 'Flatout flat breads. They are about 90cals each and only6 net carbs for a huge flatbread. Also, look up the recipe for Soul Bread on youtube. It is really good!! So far it is my favorite bread.

I'm eating once a day on Knuckles Beast mode diet... I'm eating noodles, rice, amazing carbs like bread and tortillas but I eat only once a day between 4-8pm for an hour. I had orange chicken, Kung pao chicken, chow mein and rice, even the fortune cookie and still dropped weight the next day. I ate like a king, or rather an Emperor, keeping it at about 1600 cals a day. No deprivation and the key is the Intermittent Fasting- basically just no calorie drinks for 23 hours but for that 1 hour, whatever I desire- even Cinnamon Toast Crunch!

Check out Facebook for Vegetarian Low Carb. The best way is to just throw out the bread and pastas. Low carb fruits are strawberries and other berries in very small amounts and not every day. Eat lots of salt (dill pickles are great) to avoid "Keto" flu. Track what you eat. I try to stay under 1100 calories, eat 100+ g of protein, less than 20 carbs and less than 70 g of fat.

Drink lots of water. Like 5-16.9ounces a day. That helps curb the appetite. Cutting carbs cold turkey I think would make you crave them even more. Why not try carbs that have less calories in them. Like Brown rice instead of white rice. Or, lite bread could be as low as 40 calories per slice. I even found a peanut butter "Peter pan" that has only 150 calories in 2 tablespoons. Any way. Good luck. Fill your plate with veggies first so there is little room for the carbs.
