What a busy weekend :)
Friday my week ended with a LONG walk. LB and I had diffrence of opinions and instead of me sulking on the settee next to him, I put the lead on the pickle and took her round the 'block'. A few miles and an hour and a bit later, we were home again with my head clearer and a good 'on-the-lead' training session for her :)
Saturday morning I went to the market and stocked up on some much needed fresh fruit. The shops seem to be rubbish in the moment, so the markets make a welcome change. In the afternoon we had his kids and grandkids round for a BBQ.
Sunday we went to Highclere for a country show. We took the two younger dogs and they had plenty of fun meeting, greeting and sniffing hundrets of other woowoos.
In the afternoon I decided to climb on the roof and clean the moss out of the gutters :0. It went well til I knocked the end piece of. A trip over to my house was in order to pick up the long ladder.
And although I hate heights, LB hates them more. So I braved it up and retrieved the end piece and attached it again.
Yesterday was a 'rest' day. I pottered round the house all day not really achieving anything apart from some awesome vegan muffins. Yummy!
In the evening we had friends come round and we grilled a trout for them with asparagus and baked potato. A truly pleasant evening.
Back to work today and the weather is.....rubbish!!! Grey and very windy. My plans working in the garden might get washed away. Heyho, knowing me I will find another project.
